Why Velundari exists

Velundari Limited is a technology company. We build business software for people who did not get into business to administer software — the shop with one till, the salon with three chairs, the workshop where the owner is also the best technician.

Engineering discipline, stated rather than implied
Nothing claimed without evidence
A capability is finished when it has been exercised against a running system and the result recorded. Until then it is in progress, and we describe it that way.
Recovery is part of the product
A backup nobody has restored is a hypothesis. Ours are restored on a schedule, into a disposable copy, and checked against the original.
Plain language throughout
The software asks “how many do you have?” rather than “initial inventory quantity”. The same applies here.
The name
Velundari
The mark is a geometric V: two strokes meeting at a single point, one of them carrying the Imperial Crimson that runs through everything we make. Two things converging on one place — which is what the product is for.
